  • 800 g Waxy potatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tsp Hamburg potato spice *)
  • Hot air fryer
  • Coarse sea salt from the mill

  • Wash the potatoes, boil them in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) for about 10 minutes, drain them and let them cool down a little. First cut into slices (approx. 1 cm wide) and then into strips (approx. 1 cm wide) to make French fries. Put the french fries in a container, drizzle with sunflower oil (4 tbsp) and season the Hamburg potato seasoning (1 tsp) and mix everything well. Possibly let stand refrigerated overnight. Bake the French fries in portions in the hot air fryer until golden-brown and then season with coarse sea salt from the mill. The french fries are a delicious side dish for many occasions, but they also only taste that way.
  • *) Composition of Hamburg potato spices: black pepper, onion granules, black cumin, coriander, turmeric, garlic granules, oregano, parsley and bay leaves
