  • goosefoot, horsetail, bear’s ear, milk thistle, immortelle, dandelion, strawberry leaves, and barberry have choleretic and diuretic effects;
  • senna, buckthorn, anise, yarrow, and chamomile have laxative effects;
  • coltsfoot, nettle, birch leaves, and elderberry flowers normalize metabolism;
  • rosemary, ginger, red pepper, and turmeric increase energy consumption.

The nutritionist also told us who should not take herbal teas for weight loss. The list of contraindications is as follows:

  • allergic reactions to herbs;
  • pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • chronic diseases;
  • individual intolerance.
