What products are most effective in the fight against animal appetite

In the rainiest time of the year, the body requires more energy and insistently demands a fifth candy bar or a supplement of spaghetti bolognese. For those who are on a diet, it becomes difficult to resist temptation.

Causes of increased appetite

Not only hunger can increase appetite. From the point of view of physiology, it can change depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle (many have probably noticed that before menstruation, the appetite is simply wolfish) and pre-menopause. Pregnancy can also cause fluctuations – sometimes you want to eat all the time, and sometimes you can’t get a crumb in your mouth.

A psychological increase in appetite can be caused by several factors, including

  • stress
  • depression
  • anxiety and anxiety.

How to reduce appetite and overcome hunger

In order to reduce the desire to eat and avoid reaching for forbidden foods, you need to follow simple rules.

Don’t forget to eat breakfast. In the morning, the body needs energy the most, and if only coffee is your assistant, you risk frustrating your bestial appetite with a harmful snack or being tempted by excess at dinner. Breakfast “starts” the metabolism and plays an important role in the process of losing weight.

Say no to unhealthy snacks. Nuts before lunch or a cookie while dinner is cooking can become a bad habit. The body will send signals to the brain that you need a snack – and your appetite will increase reflexively. If you can’t do without a snack, give preference to low-calorie vegetables and fruits.

Choose the right dishes. Bright, flashy colors will encourage overeating. Cool, neutral colors will help curb your appetite.

Do not eat “for the company”. We do not always eat only when we are really hungry. Most often, this happens with a company or in front of the TV. Listen to your body’s signals and eat only when you really want to.

Reduce portions. Divide three large meals into six small ones. This way, your body will always feel full and it will help you refrain from buying a donut with chocolate filling.
