  • 1 Can Chickpeas
  • 150 ml Water cold
  • 2 small Garlic cloves
  • 0,5 Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 120 g Tahini
  • 0,5 tsp Ground cumin
  • 0,5 tsp Freshly ground pepper
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Chopped parsley


  • Drain the chickpeas, rinse with cold water and place in a liter cup. Save some whole chickpeas! Peel and finely grate the garlic, puree with water, lemon juice and tahini. Season to taste with cumin, pepper and salt.
  • Put everything in a shallow bowl. Mix the paprika powder with the oil and pour over the humus. Sprinkle with chickpeas and parsley!
  • Cover with foil and cool for at least 30 minutes!
  • There was flatbread with it! 🙂
