Iced Tea with Moroccan Mint

Ingredients
 

  • 3 bag Tea green dry
  • 1 liter Water
  • 5 Stalk Moroccan mint
  • 5 tsp Brown cane sugar
  • 0,5 piece Fresh lime

  • 1 tea filter bag (empty) + 1 glass jug (1 liter capacity)

to brew tea

  • Wash the mint (length per stem approx. 10 cm) and pluck the leaves from the stems. Tear the leaves in the middle, put them in the empty tea filter bag and seal it. Bring the water to the boil and let it cool down to 90 ° C. Brew the green tea and let it steep for 2 minutes. Then remove the tea bags. Put the tea filter bag with the mint in the freshly prepared green tea. Then add the brown cane sugar and stir.

  • Let the tea cool down to room temperature first, then put it in the refrigerator. Before serving, remove the tea filter bag with the mint, squeeze half the lime, add the juice and stir. Serve the iced tea chilled with ice cubes.
