Juicy Apple Pie With Pudding: Recipe For Springform Pan and Tray

Juicy apple pie with pudding – that’s what you need for this

An apple pie with custard is particularly moist because the custard gives it a creamy consistency. With this recipe you can conjure up a delicious apple pie in the springform pan – alternatively, you can bake a sheet cake with twice the ingredients. For a juicy apple pie with pudding, make a shortcrust pastry, an apple filling, and sprinkles:

  • For the shortcrust pastry, you need 180 g flour, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking powder, 80 g sugar, 90 g margarine, and a pinch of salt.
  • For the filling, you need 8 apples, 1 pack of vanilla sugar, 2 packs of custard powder, 700 ml milk, and 70 g sugar.
  • For the crumble, you take 65 g cold butter, 100 g flour, and 65 g sugar.

How to prepare the apple pie

After you have gathered all the ingredients, you can start preparing. After 45 minutes your cake is already ready and you can enjoy it after enough time to cool down:

  1. Mix the flour, egg, baking powder, sugar, margarine, and salt into a homogeneous mass to make the shortcrust pastry. Then refrigerate the dough for a short time.
  2. In the meantime, grease your springform tin and then fill the shortcrust pastry into the tin. Pull the dough up along the edges. Put the springform pan back in the fridge for a moment.
  3. While the mold is cooling, peel and core the apples. Cut them into pieces of about 1.5 cm. Take the springform pan out of the fridge and spread the apple pieces over the dough.
  4. Put the vanilla sugar, the custard powder, and the sugar in a bowl and mix the ingredients with a little milk.
  5. Bring the remaining milk to a boil and add it to the pudding mixture.
  6. Bring the pudding mixture to a boil again and then pour it over the apples on the shortcrust pastry. In the meantime, preheat the oven.
  7. For the crumbles, mix the butter, flour, and sugar into a homogeneous mass and spread it over the pudding. This should have formed a skin by now.
  8. Put the mold in the oven and let the cake bake for about 70 minutes at 175 degrees.
  9. After baking, let the cake cool down, and then enjoy your moist apple cake with pudding.
