Kale Salad

The perfect kale salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Kale
  • 1 piece Apple
  • 50 g Nuts
  • 50 g Cranberries
  • 0,5 piece Lemon
  1. Wash the kale and pluck it into bite-sized pieces. Beware of the stalks, they can be very hard and inedible – so it is better to remove them. Then bring the kale to the boil with a little water in the closed pot and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, wash the apple and cut it into small pieces. Prepare the nuts and cranberries. All types of nuts fit; I like almonds and cranberries the best.
  3. Finally, drain the kale and briefly rinse with cold water. Wring out the leaves lightly and put them in a bowl. Drizzle a few squirts of lemon over it and massage into the leaves for a moment. Then add the apple and the nut mixture and stir. Finished :-)!
