Lamb’s Lettuce with Pomegranate Seeds and Diced Bacon with Potato Dressing

The perfect lamb’s lettuce with pomegranate seeds and diced bacon with potato dressing recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the salad:

  • 300 g Lamb’S lettuce
  • 1 Pc. Pomegranates
  • 100 g Bacon cubes

For the dressing:

  • 125 g Potato dumpling dough
  • 2,5 tbsp Vinegar
  • 200 g Water
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Maggi
  • Herbs
  1. Bring the potato dumpling dough to the boil with water and season with salt, sugar, nutmeg, Maggi and vinegar.
  2. Then puree with a hand blender and allow to cool, if the potato dressing is to be served warm, reheat it on the stove shortly beforehand.
  3. Wash the lamb’s lettuce and, if desired, remove the roots. Core the pomegranate and fry the diced bacon until crispy.
  4. Create a bed of lamb’s lettuce for serving and decoratively distribute the pomegranate seeds and diced bacon on top.
  5. Finally, pour the potato dressing over the top and serve.
