Ingredients

  • 1,5 KG Large waxy potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Salt
  • 70 g Peanut oil
  • French fries seasoning salt

Instructions

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces about 5 cm thick and high (the length varies, of course, depending on the length of the potato).
  • Put well salted water in a saucepan. Add vinegar and bring to the boil. Then put the fries in the water and cook for 8 minutes.
  • After 8 minutes, carefully drain the fries and let stand in a bowl or the pasta sieve for at least 5 minutes. It's best to stop steaming the fries so they're as dry as possible and crispy.
  • While the fries are evaporating, preheat the oven including the baking sheet (without baking paper!) To 230 degrees top and bottom heat.
  • As soon as the fries are no longer steaming add the peanut oil and mix gently. Then place the fries on the hot baking sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes. After 15-20 minutes, carefully turn the fries.
  • When the cooking time is over, drain the oil and place the fries in a bowl lined with kitchen paper. and dab something off the sides. Then remove the paper towel and add the fries seasoning salt. Good Appetite!
