Lentil pot

  • 100 g Mixed with bacon, diced
  • 1 Onion
  • 400 g Soup vegetables
  • 1,5 liter Water
  • 1 branch Spiced thyme from our own garden
  • 250 g Plate lentils
  • 4 piece Pears
  • 4 piece Mettwurst or cooked sausages
  • Salt, gourmet pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar (white balsamic vinegar)
  • Parsley to taste

  • Take a large saucepan and add the diced bacon and fry in it. Peel the onion, chop it finely in the lightning chopper and add it too. Braise this as well as the cleaned soup vegetables. Then put the plate lentils in a sieve and rinse.
  • Pluck the leaves off the spicy thyme and pour them over with the water, bring to the boil. Then turn the lid down and let it simmer for about 25 minutes.
  • After the cooking time, wash the pears and put them in the saucepan. Also add the sausages or cooked sausages. Let them cook for another 25 minutes. After this time, remove the sausages and cut them into small pieces, then add them again. Now season the whole thing with salt, gourmet pepper and the vinegar.
  • Stir and add the freshly chopped parsley. Take deep plates / bowls and fill in the lentil pot and serve immediately.
