Letscho Goulash

Ingredients
 

  • 500 g Pork goulash
  • 100 g Ham cubes
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Red Peppers
  • 1 glass Letscho
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 glass Red wine
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp Chili Sauce (Sambal Oelek)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Hot paprika powder

Instructions
 

  • Peel the onions and cloves of garlic, coarsely dice the onions and finely dice the cloves of garlic.
  • Clean the peppers and cut into cubes.
  • Put everything in a saucepan with oil and fry with the goulash and diced ham.
  • Add the spices, deglaze with the red wine and the vegetable stock and let simmer for about 60 minutes.
  • Add the letscho and the tomato paste and simmer gently for another 30 minutes, if necessary tie with a little sauce thickener.
  • I served the goulash with slices of serviette dumplings fried in butter (see my KB).
