Ingredients

  • 115 g Macadamia nuts, roasted, salted
  • 5 size Dates without a core
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa
  • 12 Macadamia halves

Instructions

  • Cut the dates into small pieces and chop them together with the macadamias (except for the 12 halves) in the chopper. Pour into a narrow container and process into a pulp with a hand blender. Halve the now quite oily mixture and mix one half with the cocoa.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 ° O / bottom heat.
  • Cut 12 small portions from each mass, join them together and roll them into a ball. Place a little distance on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press half of the macadamia in the center of each ball.
  • Slide the sheet metal into the oven on the second rail from below. The baking time is 5 - 7 minutes. Then take out immediately and let cool down well.
  • This little snack is a bit "sensitive" and fragile even when it has cooled down. But that doesn't detract from the taste.
