Mashed Potatoes Italy
The perfect mashed potatoes italy recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Potatoes
- 1 Small zucchini
- 6 Small cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Basil oil
- Salt, chilli, basil. nutmeg
- 125 ml Milk
- 1 tbsp Butter
- Halve the zucchini and cut into thin slices, quarter the tomatoes
- Fry the zucchini in the basil oil, briefly add the tomatoes and fry with them
- Heat the milk, add a little nutmeg and salt
- Boil the potatoes and press them through the potato press (alternatively you can make a pulp with a mixer and whisk)
- Add milk and butter and stir until the butter is dissolved
- Add the zucchini and tomatoes and stir well.
- Season to taste with salt, chilli and basil (for me it was unfortunately dried, frozen or fresh is better). Complete 😉
