Ingredients

The tartar sauce

  • 250 g Mayonnaise from our own production
  • 1 large Diced onion
  • 3 medium-sized Pickled cucumber diced pickled
  • 2 tablespoon Cucumber water
  • 3 teaspoon Capers
  • 2 tablespoon Low fat milk
  • 0,5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0,5 bunch Freshly chopped parsley
  • 0,5 bunch Chives freshly cut into rolls
  • 2 piece Hard-Boiled eggs

extra

  • 4 large Jacket potatoes

Instructions

  • Put the mayonnaise in a bowl. Add all other ingredients and mix everything well. Season again and you're done. It should be a thick mass. No sauce.
  • Put the matjes on a plate and spread the remoulade over them as desired. I had cooked an egg as an edible decoration. Add jacket potatoes and enjoy your meal.
  • Here is the link to my homemade mayonnaise. - It doesn't have to be homemade, of course. It also tastes good with a purchased one.
