Meatballs in Basil Mozzarella Sauce

The perfect meatballs in basil mozzarella sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the sauce:

  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 450 g Tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 150 g Mozzarella
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Mix the minced meat with the egg, mustard, herbs and spices.
  2. Now shape small meatballs by hand and place in a parchment-lined mold. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, heat the tomato sauce with cayenne pepper and basil. When the meatballs are ready, add them to the pan.
