  • Chocolate burns at high temperatures, so avoid placing the bowl directly in the water. The resulting steam is sufficient to melt the chocolate.
  • It is best to take a melting bowl to put it in the water bath. Hang the melting bowl in the pot, so there is no contact with the water.
  • You have to stir the chocolate all the time or it will burn on the shell. Break the slab beforehand, this will make it easier to melt.

These tips will melt the chocolate

  • If you melt chocolate at too high a temperature, the milk it contains usually burns. Therefore, dark chocolate with a high cocoa content is more suitable.
  • Do not put water in the chocolate, as this will cause it to clump together very quickly and is then no longer usable.
  • You can also melt the chocolate in the microwave. To do this, place the pieces in a bowl for the microwave. Then set your microwave to low and heat the chocolate for 15 seconds, then stir it. Continue in this order until the chocolate is completely melted.
