Instructions

Preface:

  • The idea came from loewe_bs and their recipe for macaroni roulade. But since I've changed a lot for us, I'm going to set it anyway so that I can have the recipe as I made it in my cookbook. Please don't be angry about it.

Preparation:

  • First cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. As you can see in the pictures, I lined the dough with bacon. I wanted to achieve a little more stability when rolling up. That was rather counterproductive, as it rolled quite well, but later didn't cut that well. So next time would fry the bacon in strips or diced ham with the onions in a pan in a little oil. Swirl the cooked pasta in it and let it cool.
  • For the minced meat batter, first soak the toast in a little milk. Express very well between 2 boards. Process with all other ingredients for the minced meat dough to a smooth dough. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Roll out onto baking paper into a square. Next time a little thinner than this time. Place the pasta, ham and onion mixture on top. It is nice when the noodles are all in one direction. Spread the cheese in between. Roll it up carefully and use the parchment paper to put it in a baking pan. The seam should be at the bottom. Brush the roll with the beaten egg, spread the breadcrumbs on top and press down a little. Carefully spread the spray oil on it, and then put it in the hot oven for 40 minutes.
  • During this time, bring the tomato sauce on the way. To do this, cut off the roots of the peeled tomatoes. Heat some oil in a saucepan and sweat the onion and garlic in it. Add tomatoes and cook for about 15 minutes. Then add all the spices and simmer for another 5 minutes. Mix everything with the hand blender and season to taste with the chili oil.
  • Now it can be served. Cut the chopping roll into slices and arrange on plates with the tomato sauce.
  • We ate onion and pepper pieces fried in a little olive oil.
  • It tasted wonderful. Thanks again to loewe_bs for this great recipe idea.
