Ingredients
For the dough:
- 2 teaspoon Chia seeds
- 100 Milliliters Water
- 80 g Raw cane sugar
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 Generous pinch Salt
- 80 Milliliters Oil
- 250 g Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 100 Milliliters Mineral water
For the frosting:
- 75 g Powdered sugar
- 4 teaspoon Lemon juice
For the chocolate topping:
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cocoa powder
- 4 teaspoon Water
- 2 teaspoon Oil
Instructions
- Grind the chia seeds and mix with the water. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt, stir and let soak for about 10 minutes.
- Stir the mixture until the sugar has dissolved and then whip.
- Let the oil run in in a thin stream and mix well.
- Mix flour with baking powder and sieve. Gradually work into the dough, alternating with the mineral water.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° top / bottom heat.
- Spread the dough tablespoon at a time on a laid-out baking sheet. Make sure there is enough distance. 8 to 9 per tray.
- The vegans bake for about 15 minutes.
- The quantities indicated for icing and chocolate are enough for about half of the pastry.
- For the icing, stir the ingredients together and distribute them on the flat side of half of the still hot vegan dishes. You can also color the frosting with food coloring and sprinkle with sugar pearls.
- For the chocolate icing, mix powdered sugar and cocoa powder, work in water and oil. Apply to the flat side of the second half of the pastry.
