Mulled Wine Cake

Ingredients
 

  • 250 g Butter
  • 5 Egg yolk
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 100 g Chocolate or chocolate flakes
  • 2 tbsp Cinammon
  • 1 Pck Baking powder
  • 250 ml Mulled wine
  • 100 g Almonds
  • 385 g Sifted flour
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Mix the butter with the egg yolks and sugar. Then mix in the sifted flour with the baking powder and add the mulled wine.
  • Then fold in the ground almonds, chocolate or chocolate flakes, cinnamon.
  • Then bake the whole thing at 180 C for a good 50-60 minutes with hot air. Finished.
  • Sprinkle the cooled cake with some sifted powdered sugar or, as shown in the other picture, brush with chocolate couverture and decorate. The cake stays fresh and tasty for days. The spices are then really drawn through!
