Ingredients
 

For the dough:

  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon
  • 2 Eggs
  • 125 g Butter
  • 250 g Quark
  • 3 tbsp Rum

For the filling:

  • 200 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 8 tbsp Milk

For decoration:

  • 50 g Butter
  • Powdered sugar

Instructions
 

For the dough:

  • Mix the flour with the baking powder and sift into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and cinnamon.
  • Add eggs, butter, quark and rum and knead everything well.
  • Roll out the dough into a rectangle.

For the filling:

  • Place the ground hazelnuts in a bowl.
  • Add the sugar, vanilla sugar and milk and stir everything together.
  • Spread the nut mixture evenly on the rolled out dough.
  • Roll up the dough from the longer side and place on a baking sheet.
  • Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for 50 minutes.

For decoration:

  • Melt the butter and spread it on the stollen immediately after baking.
  • Sift icing sugar over it.
