Nutritionist Names The Healthiest Drink for the Liver: It Reduces the Risk of Cirrhosis and Fatty Liver

A healthy liver is key to human longevity. Coffee has proven to be the most beneficial drink for liver health. This was stated by nutritionist Courtney D’Angelo.

The expert cited research that shows that drinking coffee can reduce the risk of cirrhosis and protect against fatty liver disease.

The beneficial effect of the drink is explained by the fact that it can reduce fat accumulation and increase the number of antioxidants in the liver, which neutralize the activity of harmful free radicals and prevent damage to the cells of the organ. Black coffee can also resist liver scarring.

The nutritionist also added that to preserve the beneficial properties of the drink, it should be drunk without the addition of sugar, milk, and fatty cream.
