It is not always necessary to give up your favorite desserts for the sake of a slim figure. But you must learn to eat them properly. This was stated by the famous nutritionist Elena Kalen.

The main principle to follow is to read the product’s composition carefully. If it contains many healthy ingredients, it can be consumed in certain quantities.

“For example, a chocolate bar with nuts will be useful. After all, they contain fat, which slows down the digestion process due to the fact that the body has to separate glucose from fat. This means that sugar enters the bloodstream more slowly than it could. As a result, the pancreas does not need to send an army of insulin to transport large amounts of sugar through the cells. This is better for blood vessels, health, and a slim figure,” the nutritionist explained.
