Instructions
- Wash lemons under hot water.
- Boil the mason jar for at least 10 minutes. Do not use a container with a metal lid, as the salt will corrode it.
- Cut into lemons (do not cut through) and sprinkle 4 teaspoons of salt into each lemon.
- Place the lemons in the mason jar and add 2 teaspoons of salt for each lemon.
- Fill up with enough boiling water to cover the lemons. Immediately close the glass. Leave to rest for at least 6 weeks and only use the bowl to refine the dishes.
