Ingredients

if you like, you can add .....

  • 30 Sugar cubes
  • 7 dL Armagnac
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Star anise

Instructions

  • Wash the plums, pat dry, cut open one side and remove the core.
  • 1 Place the sugar lump in place of the core, squeeze lightly and layer in a mason jar
  • Then cover the fruit with Armagnac. It is important that the fruits are covered
  • Instead of Armagnac, you can also have a good cognac
  • If you like, you can add a cinnamon stick and 1 star anise
  • Leave the jars in a cool and dark place for 3 months - the longer you let the plums stand, the better they will be.
  • If you don't want to enjoy them pure, they go wonderfully with cinnamon or vanilla ice cream
  • You will see how it looks finished later when the plums are ripe 😉
