Ingredients
if you like, you can add .....
- 30 Sugar cubes
- 7 dL Armagnac
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Star anise
Instructions
- Wash the plums, pat dry, cut open one side and remove the core.
- 1 Place the sugar lump in place of the core, squeeze lightly and layer in a mason jar
- Then cover the fruit with Armagnac. It is important that the fruits are covered
- Instead of Armagnac, you can also have a good cognac
- If you like, you can add a cinnamon stick and 1 star anise
- Leave the jars in a cool and dark place for 3 months - the longer you let the plums stand, the better they will be.
- If you don't want to enjoy them pure, they go wonderfully with cinnamon or vanilla ice cream
- You will see how it looks finished later when the plums are ripe 😉
