Ingredients
 

Pork fillet shashlik with pepper and onion mix:

  • 440 g 1 pork tenderloin
  • 230 g 3 large onions / peeled
  • 170 g 1 Red pepper, cleaned
  • 155 g 1 yellow pepper, cleaned
  • 130 g 1 green pepper / cleaned
  • 10 piece Shish kebab skewers
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil

Homemade shashlik sauce:

  • 75 g 1 Onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 Red chilli pepper
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Light rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 400 g 1 can of tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Mild curry powder
  • 1 tbsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sambal Oelek
  • 6 tbsp Cooking cream
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill

Serve:

  • Mild curry powder
  • Parsley for garnish
  • Homemade fries in the air fryer (See my recipe: *)

Instructions
 

Pork fillet shashlik with pepper and onion mix:

    Homemade shashlik sauce:

    • Peel and dice the onion. Peel and finely dice the garlic clove. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and finely dice. Heat sunflower oil (1 tbsp) in a pan, fry the onion cubes with the garlic clove cubes and chilli pepper cubes / stir fry. Add tomato paste (1 tbsp) and stir-fry / stir. Add light rice vinegar (1 tbsp) and brown sugar (1 tbsp) and stir-fry briefly. Add the can of finely chopped tomatoes (400 g) and season with mild curry powder (1 tbsp), sweet paprika (1 tbsp), sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp) and sambal oelek (1 tsp). Let everything simmer for a few minutes and use the potato masher to pound the finely chopped tomatoes even finer. Finally refine with cooking cream (6 tbsp) and season with coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (2 big pinches), season to taste.

    Serve:

    • Serve pork fillet shashlik with paprika and onion mix and homemade shashlik sauce, garnished with parsley. Serve with homemade French fries from the hot air fryer. See my recipe: *)
