Potato and Savoy Cabbage Pan

The perfect potato and savoy cabbage pan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 large Waxy potatoes
  • 2 piece Chopped onions
  • 0,5 piece Savoy cabbage fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Caraway seed
  • Salt
  • Chilli (cayenne pepper) -in-house production
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 0,5 Cup Water
  • 4 piece Bratwurst Lumberjack Art
  • 2 tablespoon Sunflower oil
  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces. Likewise the onions. Chop the cleaned savoy cabbage. I took the delicate light green piece.
  2. Heat the butter in a pan. Fry the potatoes and onions in it. Add savoy cabbage. Also the caraway seeds as well as salt and cayenne to taste. Fry everything well. Add water and put a lid on the pan. Braise for 20 minutes.
  3. Then remove the lid and finish cooking everything on high. Until the liquid has braised away. Takes about 10 minutes. Season again and you’re done.
  4. In the meantime, fry the sausage in another pan. Simply heat the oil and fry the sausage brown on all sides.
