Potato Muffin

The perfect potato muffin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Floury potatoes
  • Nutmeg
  • Chives
  • 150 g Ham cubes
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 100 g Grated cheese e.g. medieval Gouda
  • 7 piece Eggs
  • Salt
  • Butter for greasing the form
  1. To start with, grease the muffin cups. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C O / U heat.
  2. Dice the ham and toast it in a pan without fat until light brown. Cut the chives into fine rings and coarsely grate the cheese.
  3. Peel, wash and roughly grate the potatoes. Squeeze the water out of the potato mixture with your hands.
  4. Mix the potato mixture with the diced ham, the grated cheese, chives, an egg, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Then distribute the mixture in the molds. Make a well in each of them and bake for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Take out of the oven and beat 1 egg into the top of each hollow. Then bake in the oven for another 10 minutes.
  5. Serve the potato muffin hot with fresh herbs.
