Potato Roll
The perfect potato roll recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Potatoes
- 200 g Parmesan
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Pc. Onion sweet
- 450 g Ground beef
- 400 g Tomatoes happened
- 4 tbsp Parsley
- 1 tsp Paprika powder
- 0,5 tsp Pepper
- Salt
- 240 g Fresh spinach
- 2 Pc. Garlic cloves
- 250 g Ricotta
- 100 g Mozzarella
- Peel the potatoes and cut into thin slices. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread half of the grated Parmesan cheese on top. Spread the potato slices on the baking sheet like scales, so that a closed potato layer is created. Sprinkle with the rest of the Parmesan and season with salt. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for 30 minutes.
- For the meat mixture, cut the sweet onion into cubes. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry well. Stir in the tomatoes and parsley, season with salt, pepper and paprika powder.
- For the spinach mixture, wash and clean the spinach, finely chop the garlic cloves. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a second pan. Add the spinach leaves and let them collapse while stirring. Add the garlic and salt.
- Pour the ricotta into a bowl. Add the spinach mixture and mix well.
- Spread the ricotta and spinach mixture on the cooled potato base. Spread the minced meat mixture over it. Finally sprinkle with grated mozzarella.
- Using the baking paper, roll up the potato base from one side. Bake again at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Cut into pieces for serving. A colorful salad goes well with it.
