Ingredients
- 2 kg Potatoes
- 1 ring Meat sausage
- 1 Onion
- 2 piece Apples
- 1 Glass Gherkins
- 10 piece Eggs
- 1 Glass Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Rinse the potatoes under clean water and place in a large saucepan with water. Salt generously and simmer the potatoes over medium heat for approx. 20 minutes. Then drain and let cool. (I always cook the jacket potatoes the day before.)
- Cut the gherkins, apples, onions and boiled sausage into small cubes, put the eggs in a small saucepan with water and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and cook the eggs over medium heat for approx. 8-10 minutes. Drain and let cool. Then peel the eggs and cut them into small pieces.
- Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Put the potatoes, apples, onions, boiled sausage and cucumber in a large bowl and mix together.
- Put the mayonnaise in a key and mix with salt, pepper and mustard, then fill the empty glass 1/4 l with cucumber water and add to the mayonnaise.
- Pour the mayonnaise over the potatoes and stir in, possibly after seasoning. Let the potato salad steep before serving
