Yoghurt Parfait: This is what you need for the ice cream dessert
Our quantities are two servings.
- For a yoghurt parfait, you need 100 g of plain yoghurt or Greek yoghurt.
- You should also have 100 g of whipped cream and a pinch of salt ready.
- Weigh out 40 g of sugar and place it with the remaining ingredients.
- Last but not least you need an egg yolk.
This is how the icy dessert succeeds
You can make a simple parfait even if you don’t have much kitchen experience.
- First, whip the cream with a pinch of salt until stiff and chill in the fridge.
- Next, beat the egg yolks with the sugar in a hot water bath until creamy.
- Allow the sugar ice cream to cool slightly and then stir in the yoghurt.
- Now all that’s missing is the whipped cream, which you carefully fold in.
- Line a casserole dish or loaf tin with cling film and fill in the mixture.
- Now cover the parfait with cling film and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
- After this time the yoghurt parfait is frozen and you can lift it out of the mould, remove the foil and serve the dessert.
- Raspberries or other types of berries are suitable for decoration. You can also sprinkle flaked almonds over the parfait.
