Ingredients
 

  • 800 g Roast beef from the wrong fillet
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoned pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Steak seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the roast in cold water and pat dry again. Then rub vigorously all around with steak seasoning and seasoned pepper. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
  • Heat a cast roasting pan, add the oil and fry the roast very quickly on all sides. Put the roasting pan with the well-browned roast in the oven, immediately set the temperature back to 100 degrees and then forget about everything for about 3 hours.
  • Then switch off the stove, put a lid on the roaster and let the piece of meat rest for about 15 minutes so that the juice can calm down and distribute itself. Cut into thin slices and serve drizzled with the gravy. I served a cauliflower and potato casserole ** with it.
