Roast smoked tofu: This is how the tofu hack works
Tofu hack is an interesting alternative to classic tofu. The preparation is pretty easy and takes very little time.
- Ingredients: 100 grams of smoked tofu, 200 grams of white tofu, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic, and salt and pepper.
- Preparation: Put the olive oil in a pan. Heat the oil and crumble the tofu into the pan.
- Fry until crispy while turning. Meanwhile, peel and dice the garlic. Add it to the tofu along with the tomato paste.
- Roast everything for a few minutes. Then season your tofu mince with salt and pepper.
- Tip: If you have prepared too much tofu, you can also freeze it.
Classic tofu cubes: This is how the recipe works
Classic tofu cubes go with everything and can also be enjoyed in between meals.
- Ingredients: 200 grams of smoked tofu, salt, pepper, and 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Preparation: Cut the tofu into cubes of the same size.
- Put the tofu cubes in a pan. Add the oil.
- Fry the tofu on all sides until golden. This should take about six minutes. Season the cubes with salt and pepper.
Smoked tofu pan: Here’s how it works
If you want to prepare a delicious dinner, then a smoked tofu pan is the right thing for you:
- Ingredients: 1 pack of smoked tofu, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, soy sauce, 2 onions, 1 pinch of salt, 500 grams of vegetables of your choice, and spices of your choice.
- Preparation: Cut the smoked tofu into bite-sized pieces. Put the cubes in a bowl and add some salt and soy sauce. Seal the bowl and place it in the fridge to marinate. The tofu cubes must be marinated for at least two hours.
- Put some olive oil in a pan. Add the tofu cubes and fry them until crispy. Remove the tofu cubes from the pan.
- Wash, clean, and peel the vegetables. Cut it into bite-sized pieces. Add another tablespoon of olive oil to the same pan. Fry the vegetables. Season with a suitable spice and salt. Mix the tofu cubes with the vegetables. Let everything run on the lowest level.
