Rösti Casserole
The perfect rösti casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 800 g Potatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 150 g Ham cubes
- 250 g Natural yoghurt
- 2 tbsp Mustard
- 200 g Grated cheese
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- Peel and roughly grate the potatoes.
- Briefly squeeze out excess liquid from the rasp with your hands.
- Peel the onion and cut into fine cubes.
- Heat the butter in a pan and sweat the onion until translucent.
- Add ham and fry, then add the mix to the potatoes.
- Mix yoghurt, mustard and cheese together in a bowl, season with salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg and add.
- Put the rösti mix in a dripping pan.
- Bake the rösti casserole at 200 ° for approx. 50 minutes.
