Ingredients
- 75 g Flour
- 30 g Butter
- 1 Organic egg yolks
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Wine vinegar
- 200 g Herb quark
- 1 Egg Whites
- 1 Egg free range
- 200 g Cherry tomatoes
- 20 g Coarsely grated mountain cheese
Instructions
- Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, egg yolk, butter, salt and vinegar and let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Grease and crumble a size 16 cake tin, roll out the dough on a floured surface and place in the mold. Pull up the edges and prick the bottom a few times with a fork.
- Preheat the stove to 190 degrees lower / upper heat.
- Mix the quark with the egg and egg white.
- Halve the tomatoes, remove the stem end and spread the halves on the dough with the cut surface facing down.
- Pour the quark on top and then press the tomatoes into the quark with the cut surface facing up.
- Bake for 25 minutes and then spread the grated mountain cheese on the quark cake.
- The cake is ready when the cheese melts nicely but is not brown.
