Schnitzel Roulades with Cheese Filling in Mixed Mushroom Sauce
The perfect schnitzel roulades with cheese filling in mixed mushroom sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Pork schnitzel
- 4 disc Sliced cheese
- 100 g Sliced breakfast bacon
- Olive oil
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 piece Clove of garlic, chopped
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- 200 g Mixed mushrooms in a glass
- 1 tbsp Brandy
- 200 ml Cream
- Steam the peeled onion and chopped garlic until translucent. Add mixed mushrooms and continue steaming – season with a little salt and pepper. Pour in the brandy and cream and let it boil down a little.
- Beat the pork schnitzel, add a little salt and pepper, top with a slice of cheese, roll up as a roulade and wrap in the bacon slices and fry well on all sides in another – ideally grill pan – and continue to fry for approx. 10 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the schnitzel roulades with the frying stock to the mushrooms and let them simmer again for approx. 10 minutes with the lid closed.
- We had croquettes for this.
