Schnitzel Roulades with Cheese Filling in Mixed Mushroom Sauce

  • 4 piece Pork schnitzel
  • 4 disc Sliced ​​cheese
  • 100 g Sliced ​​breakfast bacon
  • Olive oil
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Clove of garlic, chopped
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 200 g Mixed mushrooms in a glass
  • 1 tbsp Brandy
  • 200 ml Cream
  1. Steam the peeled onion and chopped garlic until translucent. Add mixed mushrooms and continue steaming – season with a little salt and pepper. Pour in the brandy and cream and let it boil down a little.
  2. Beat the pork schnitzel, add a little salt and pepper, top with a slice of cheese, roll up as a roulade and wrap in the bacon slices and fry well on all sides in another – ideally grill pan – and continue to fry for approx. 10 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add the schnitzel roulades with the frying stock to the mushrooms and let them simmer again for approx. 10 minutes with the lid closed.
  4. We had croquettes for this.
