She also recommends eating unripe bananas. They are rich in resistant starch. Nutritionist Kylie Ivanir advises eating artichokes.

“The main antioxidants and phytonutrients in artichokes are quercetin, rutoside, gallic acid, and caring. They are necessary for our cells to remain healthy and full of life,” Ivanir said.

The nutrition expert also recommends including pomegranates in the diet, as they contain a large amount of vitamin C, which promotes collagen production, as well as many antioxidants, including flavonoids and anthocyanins. And these nutrients help protect the body’s cells from stress.
