Semolina – Cheese – Cherry Cake
The perfect semolina – cheese – cherry cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Durum wheat semolina
- 180 g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 500 g Quark lean
- 2 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 1 Cup Sour cherry preserve drained
- Preheat the oven to 175 C. Grease the loaf pan well.
- In a bowl, stir the eggs until frothy. Stir in the rest of the ingredients – EXCEPT CHERRIES.
- Pour the dough into the loaf pan, distribute the cherries evenly on top.
- Put the form in the oven and bake for about 45-50 minutes.
- Let the cake cool in the mold to room temperature, then place in the refrigerator for a few hours. Only when the cake is really cold (that should be after about 3 hours) remove it from the mold and cut it into slices.
