Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 small Onion
  • 150 g Lean ham cubes
  • 0,5 Leek
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Put the rice in a saucepan and boil it with 2 cups of water, when the rice starts to cook, remove the heat so far that it only simmers slightly, so the rice cooks almost by itself, stir occasionally. When it is done pass through a sieve, rinse if necessary, depends on the variety. Put in a bowl.
  • Lightly fry the ham cubes in the oil, add the chopped onion and toss 3-4 times and pour over the rice.
  • Thinly cut the leek and add to the rice and stir everything well. Season everything with salt and pepper. You can also add other spices like chilli, unfortunately I can't eat that spicy ....
  • A great accompaniment to many things ...
