Ingredients
- 500 g Peas, dried
- 250 g Cream cheese
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 Pc Onion
- 1 tbsp Vegetable broth, powder
- 1 Splash Lemon, juice
Instructions
- Soak the peas in 2.5 liters of water overnight.
- Boil the soaked peas in water with the vegetable stock for about 20 minutes until soft. (Soda works wonders. ;-))
- Drain the peas, let them cool, remove 2 tablespoons of peas and set aside and then puree the rest.
- Add the finely chopped onion, garlic powder, cream cheese, oil, lemon juice and spices to the pea puree and mix until the whole is a smooth and homogeneous mass.
- Mix the two tablespoons of peas into the spread and let them taste good!
