Ingredients
 

  • 0,75 L White wine dry
  • 100 ml Elderberry syrup*
  • 1 Orange
  • 0,5 Tonka beans
  • 5 Cloves
  • 2 tsp Ginger bread spice*
  • 1 kg Preserving sugar 1: 1

Instructions
 

  • Squeeze the orange, mix with the wine, elderberry syrup, spices and preserving sugar. Bring to the boil and simmer for four minutes. Pull from the stove and remove the tonka bean and cloves.
  • Wash the jars with hot water, place them on a damp kitchen towel and carefully pour in the jelly up to the brim. Now put a piece of aluminum foil over the opening, close the glass and turn it upside down. So you have no problems when you open it for the first time. Then the aluminum foil is replaced with a piece of cling film.
