Ingredients

  • 280 g Sifted flour
  • 80 g Sesame fresh
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 50 g Butter at room temperature
  • 125 g Extra fine sugar
  • 350 ml Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  • Put the flour, salt and baking powder in a large mixing bowl.
  • Remove 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and set aside, fry the rest in a pan without oil. Let cool down briefly and then fold into the flour mixture.
  • Whisk the butter and sugar in a separate bowl until frothy. Fold in the eggs, then add the milk and lemon juice. Mix well again.
  • Pour the milk mixture over the flour mixture, whisk thoroughly and put everything in a greased box or bread pan and bake at 160 ° C for about 45 minutes. Perform baking tests with a wooden stick. When the bread is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool down briefly in the pan, then turn it out!
  • Tastes great with butter or with the mulled wine jelly from my cookbook! 😉
