The Five Most Dangerous Vegetables for the Body Have Been Named

What you need to know about vegetables to avoid harming your body. Vegetables and fruits are among the healthiest for our bodies. However, according to doctors, some vegetables can produce dangerous compounds if they are not cooked properly.

Experts told us what you need to know about vegetables in order not to harm your body.

Potatoes. Fresh potatoes are full of potassium, which is essential for the heart. But potatoes should be eaten in moderation and the best way is boiled or baked. Fried potatoes can be dangerous – starch can create a potentially carcinogenic substance, and the solanine component can negatively affect the nervous system.

Tomato. These vegetables are full of antioxidants and are high in vitamins C and B. But these vegetables are often grown with chemical fertilizers, so pay attention to the fruits you choose in stores. Consumption of such fertilizers in large doses can greatly harm the body.

Eggplant. Eggplant pulp contains components that activate acid secretion and contribute to the formation of kidney stones. In large quantities, eggplant causes headaches, intestinal disorders, nausea, and vomiting. Experts do not recommend eating eggplants raw.

Cabbage. The potential danger of cabbage is its high iodine content. If you have thyroid disease, you should use it with great caution. Also, doctors do not recommend eating cabbage for people with gastritis and stomach ulcers. Raw cabbage can cause bloating and even constipation.

Onions. You will be surprised, but this healthiest vegetable can cause a lot of trouble. A large number of raw onions can cause stomach irritation due to the content of one of the components – fructan. Leeks and shallots are especially high in fructan.
