The Healthiest Bread for the Body Has Been Named

The nutritionist named an unexpected benefit of bread. Nutritionist Olena Kalen spoke about eating different types of bread while losing weight and which is the most useful.

According to the expert, whole grain and white bread contain approximately the same amount of nutrients, she wrote on her Instagram. Bread contains calcium, iron, and magnesium, which are useful both for weight loss and for the body as a whole.

“Both types of bread have a positive effect on cholesterol levels and intestinal microflora. Therefore, when choosing any type of bread, the level of its usefulness is approximately the same,” the nutritionist notes.

However, there is still a difference between them. “The body digests whole grain bread more slowly, which slows down the rise in blood sugar and allows the body to immediately use the energy it receives,” the expert says.

When eating bread with vegetables, herbs, and salad, its type is not crucial. Bread and other flour products are not recommended to be eaten with honey or sweet fruits, potatoes, pumpkin, and boiled carrots.
