Tina-Style Baked Feta Pasta

The perfect tina-style baked feta pasta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 750 g Tomatoes
  • 1 small Onion
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 piece Bay leaves fresh
  • 1 tbsp Rosemary fresh
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1 pinch Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 pinch Garlic pepper from my KB
  • Telly cherry pepper
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 350 g Pasta of your choice
  • 1 small trowel Pasta water
  • Fresh basil
  • 250 g Feta cheese

Set the oven to 200 ° degrees circulating air!

  1. Wash tomatoes, quarter them and remove the stalk. Peel the onion and garlic. Dice the onion and finely grate the garlic. Wash the herbs, chop the rosemary and basil.
  2. Heat a flat roasting pan and add olive oil and fry the onions until crispy. Then add tomato paste and roast briefly. Turn off the stove and add tomatoes, rosemary and bay leaves. Mix everything well and make room for the feta in the center of the roaster. Add some oil and place feta in it. Drizzle with a little olive oil!
  3. Bake everything in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta of your choice according to the instructions on the packet. Catch some pasta water!
  4. Then take the feta out of the oven, mash the feta and mix it with the seasoned salt, garlic pepper, sugar, vinegar, pepper, nutmeg and pasta water! Then fold in the pasta and basil!
  5. Serve! P.s. The recipe has always appealed to me, but not just like the original recipe! I would be a little bored now! 🙂
