Tomato Salad with Harz Cheese

  • 230 g Vine tomatoes
  • 200 g 1 ripe Harz cheese
  • 40 g 1 red onion peeled
  • 1 tsp Whole caraway seeds
  • 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Cut basil leaves
  • 2 piece Basil tips for garnish
  • 3 Discs Sunflower bread

  • Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalk, quarter and cut into pieces. Roughly dice the Harz cheese. Peel the onion, cut in half, cut into fine slices and pull apart in strips. Pluck the basil leaves and cut finely. Put all ingredients (tomato pieces, Harz cheese cubes, onion strips, 1 teaspoon whole caraway seeds, 4 big pinches of coarse sea salt from the mill, 4 big pinches of colored pepper from the mill, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 4 tablespoons of cut basil leaves) in a bowl, mix carefully Mix / mix and refrigerate until ready to serve. Divide the tomato salad with Harz cheese on 2 plates, garnish with a basil leaf tip and serve with sunflower bread (1.5 slices each). Serve with butter and coarse sea salt from the mill.
