Ingredients

  • 250 g Flour
  • 210 g Butter
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 4 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 packet Powdered sugar

Instructions

  • First knead the flour, butter, almonds, sugar and 2 packets of vanilla sugar with the dough hook of the mixer, then quickly knead with your hands to form a smooth dough and leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes in cling film!
  • After cooling, divide the dough into several pieces and roll them into a sausage as thick as your thumb. Cut them into approx. 5cm pieces and shape them into a croissant (roll them elongated between your hands and then simply bend them, it's very quick)
  • Place the croissants on a tray with a gap and bake at 175 - 180 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 20 minutes
  • Mix the powdered sugar with the rest of the vanilla sugar and lightly turn the cooled croissants in it!
  • They keep well in a metal can and are tasty to all of my family. I have now specified 35 pieces, but the amount varies depending on how big you want to make the croissants, if they are smaller, take them out of the oven, if larger please lengthen a little!
