Ingredients

  • 1 fresh Red cabbage from the market
  • 2 untreated Oranges from the market
  • 1 fresh Apple from the market
  • 1 medium sized Diced onion
  • 1 tbsp Vegan butter
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 0,5 tsp Cinammon
  • 0,5 tsp Raw cane sugar

Instructions

  • Cut red cabbage in half, quarter and cut away the stalk, cut the cabbage into small pieces, I do it with my Genius. Wash the apple, cut in half and quarter, cut out the cores and also cut through the Genius or into small cubes.
  • Brown the onions in a saucepan with the alsan, add the diced apples and let simmer for 3 minutes. Then the herb is added and the juice from the two oranges is poured over it, if it boils out too much, then squeeze out another orange or use apple juice.
  • So, now the spices are added, then the lid comes on the pot and the whole thing should simmer for about 30 to 45 minutes, the cabbage is then cooked and should steep a little more.
  • Since the portion is enough for 6 people, but we are only 2, I have a can full frozen and so a small supply if it is needed quickly.
