Ingredients
- 1 pack Uncle Ben’s Express Rice Risi Bisi
- 30 g Oatmeal
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1 piece One (size M)
- 1 piece Cucumber
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
- 1 piece Red onion
- 0,5 bunch Dill
- 150 g Yogurt
- 1 tbsp Honey liquid
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
- Heat Uncle Ben’s Express Rice Risi Bisi according to the instructions on the packet, place in a bowl and let cool down briefly. Add the oatmeal, flour and egg, mix everything well and set aside.
- Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices and place in a bowl and lightly salt. Peel the red onion and cut into rings. Roughly pluck the dill. Mix together the yogurt, honey, mustard, vinegar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Form meatballs from the rice mixture with damp hands. Press these down well and fry in a pan with the remaining oil for about 8 minutes. Turn once.
- Drain the resulting liquid from the cucumbers. Mix the cucumber with the yoghurt dressing and the dill and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the rice patties with the cucumber salad.
- Tip 6: The rice cakes also taste great as a small snack with a sweet and sour sauce.
