Ingredients
 

  • 1 pack Uncle Ben’s Express Rice Risi Bisi
  • 30 g Oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 1 piece One (size M)
  • 1 piece Cucumber
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 1 piece Red onion
  • 0,5 bunch Dill
  • 150 g Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Honey liquid
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 5 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat Uncle Ben’s Express Rice Risi Bisi according to the instructions on the packet, place in a bowl and let cool down briefly. Add the oatmeal, flour and egg, mix everything well and set aside.
  • Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices and place in a bowl and lightly salt. Peel the red onion and cut into rings. Roughly pluck the dill. Mix together the yogurt, honey, mustard, vinegar and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Form meatballs from the rice mixture with damp hands. Press these down well and fry in a pan with the remaining oil for about 8 minutes. Turn once.
  • Drain the resulting liquid from the cucumbers. Mix the cucumber with the yoghurt dressing and the dill and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the rice patties with the cucumber salad.
  • Tip 6: The rice cakes also taste great as a small snack with a sweet and sour sauce.
