  • 460 g Flour
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 4 Eggs
  • 360 g Butter or margarine
  • 360 ml Milk


  • First put the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt in a bowl and mix. Add the eggs and butter and stir everything briefly. Then add the milk and stir at the highest level for about 4 minutes until creamy.
  • Preheat the waffle iron, lightly grease. Pour in some batter, close the waffle iron and bake for about 2-3 minutes until the desired brown color. Repeat this process until the dough is used up.
  • The waffles can be dusted with powdered sugar or served with jam, fruit, hot cherries and whipped cream.
