What are the Benefits of Greens and How to use Them: Tips From a Trainer

Greens are a real treasure for the human body. Its daily consumption can significantly strengthen the immune system, as it has many beneficial properties.

On her Instagram, trainer and weight loss expert Marina Borzhemskaya told us why greens are so useful and gave us tips on how to use them correctly.

Useful properties of greens:

  • Greens are perhaps the only low-calorie food that combines absolutely all the nutrients necessary for human health;
  • contains chlorophyll, which saturates our cells with oxygen;
  • removes excess fluid, preventing edema;
  • maintains skin elasticity and literally prolongs its youth;
  • normalizes the work of the intestines;
  • in addition, it goes well with almost any dish on your table.

This list of miraculous effects of greens can be continued endlessly, as it is simply impossible to overestimate its benefits.

Tips for eating greens:

  • add a small amount to your meals every day;
  • If you have never eaten greens before, start with 10 g or even a pinch of greens to get your taste buds and intestines used to the new product;
  • Gradually increase the portion of greens and mix them, choosing a different variety each time: arugula, spinach, chard, romaine, parsley, cilantro, dill, mint, and many others.
